The Main Level

The open floorplan of the main level of the Burge Nest lends itself to a variety of ways of spending time together.  During a typical day you may be sitting in front of the large wood-burning fireplace, finding a nook to read a book on the screened-in porched, singing songs by the Steinway baby grand piano, gazing at the wondrous view, having dinner at the dining room table that easily seats 10, or relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the mountains.

The main level consists of:

• Large Living room with seating for eight or more people, and plenty more space to stretch out on the floor.  A perfect spot for playing board games, charades, or putting together a 1000-piece puzzle.  The living room has a large fireplace, satellite TV, and a DVD player. 

•  A lounging area with a baby grand piano, and comfortable seating.  Also, there is a cabinet with plenty of toys for the kids to play with.

• Dining Room with a table that can seat 10 people and an additional table that can seat 6.

• Kitchen with top-of-the-line gas oven/stove and plenty of counter space for snacking and for preparing meals. 

• Screened-in Porch with seating for 10.  A quiet place to go to in the morning.

• Spacious Deck with Hot Tub.  A great place to relax after a long hike.

• Off of the main group of rooms on this level is a hallway leading to a set of two bedrooms (the Red Room and the Blue Room each with it's own full bathroom.  Both bedrooms have two queen-size beds so you can sleep four adults comfortably in each room. 

The Second Floor

The second floor offers an additional common space that let's people get away, to relax, read a book, or watch some TV. It can also serve as a great place for young children to have their own space to safely play. There are three bedrooms on the third floor, two full baths, and a sitting area with a gas fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, and pullout couch.

• The Yellow Room has two full-size beds, along with a desk and a dresser.  The Yellow Room and Green Room share a bathroom.

• The Green Room has a queen-size bed, a two-seater couch, a dresser, a rocking chair and a crib.

• The Dorm Room is designed for kids, and has four twin beds, along with two twin beds that are trundle (pullout from underneat the other beds), for total sleeping capacity of six people.
